Going from Devon to London always excites me. Despite only being a few 100 miles apart, and a couple of hours on the train, they are completely opposite. It is by no means my first time in London, however in a way every time in London is like the first time. The atmosphere is a buzz that can only be captured in a city like London and is something quite special and unique, not to mention the diversity in the culture. I travelled up on Friday evening and arrived into Paddington station and went straight to soho, which, on a friday night, is really quite something. After a cocktail in soho, we walked through the London streets which had quickly become alive with people through to China Town for dinner, which was absolutely fantastic and definitely worth doing if you're ever in London.
